Our BacXup system is driven by the Acronis True Image 11 OEM software which includes their patented disk imaging backup technology. Acronis True Image is an integrated software suite that ensures the security of all information on your PC. It can back up the operating system, your applications, settings and all of your data. Should your disk drive ever become damaged or fall victim to an unstable software download or your system attacked by viruses or malware, you can restore the back-up data quickly and easily, eliminating hours or days of work trying to rebuild your disk drive’s data and applications from scratch.

To be able to restore lost data or roll back your system to a certain known-good state, you must first create a data backup or an entire system image archive. Using True Image OEM you will be able to back up your data to a local computer, network share, or removable media such as a BacXup hard disk docking station. With the restore operation, you will be able to recover the entire contents of the disk or you can simply open the backup image and copy over one or more files. In the event of a system or disk crash, virus attack or other fatal failures you can restore the entire disk contents in minutes — no reinstallations required!

The supported operating systems for the BacXup system are Microsoft Windows Vista & Vista x64, XP Professional, XP Professional x64 Edition and Windows 2000 Professional. When you install True Image OEM your PC should have at least 128 MB of RAM and 50 MB of free space available on the hard disk for installation and use of the program.
